Cyprus 2016

I had a chance to visit Cyprus in February 2016. Local people weren’t used to see hitch-hikers around the road, nor hitch-hikers around the highway and definitely not hitch-hikers around the highway at night. But we tought them, of course!

There are some wallpapers in FullHD resolution for you!

Local people are very nice – they advised us during tent construction in the middle of the park with tall grass that it’s not ideal place to build it there, because there will be a lot of dew.

Aphrodite’s Beach

Aphrodite’s beach during moonlight was a place, where I persisted hours and still it wasn’t enough.

Troodos

Cyprus offers not even sea fun (especially during winter with sea temperature around 15 degrees Celsius), but it’s also very pleasant to visit Troodos Mountains with highest peak Mount Olympus (1952 meters above sea).

Nicosia

“Last divided capital in the Europe.” That’s usual label of a city, whose northern part is occupied by Turkish government. Anyway, in both parts it offers fantastic feeling.

Kirenia

It could be a problem to reach this city. Very important thing is what name and which pronunciation you will use for this city.

Agios Sozomenos

One of many abandoned villages on Cyprus. Feeling of an empty village, partly destroyed chapel and remains of houses made from old mud bricks. You want to experience this!
